Our family cannot even begin to express the gratitude we have for the MPFBC. In 2023, our son who just turned 7, has been supported by them since he was 3 years old. We have received devices like a braille display, Mountbatten Braille, iPad, an apple watch, paid for therapuetic horse riding lessons and private swimming lessons, recently sent me and my husband to a Braille literacy conference in Florida we could not afford these things without their support. We learned so much at the conference to help support our son through school, mobility and life we are forever grateful for this amazing charity. Our son benefits greatly from the devices and activities they have donated to us giving him the opportunity for independence and tools to adapt his learning.
Thank you so much, we appreciate you more than you will ever know.

In August 2020, the MPFBC provided funding to Sadie for the purchase of several pieces of equipment, including an iMac, an iPad Pro, and applicable software, to assist with her activities. It was a pleasure for the MPFBC board to receive this thank you card from Sadie and we are very happy to know that she has and will continue to benefit greatly from the equipment.
Thank you so mjuch for the big iPad and the iMac. I use both of them a lot. I have been using the iMac for my homework, and I have been using the big iPad to help me practice piano. I use both of them everyday. So thanks so so much.

Dear Melanie,
I wanted to write this letter to let you know how much I appreciate all the help I’ve gotten from the Military Police Fund for Blind Children. I received my equipment a couple months back and it has really made a difference for me at home, and at work. Living with low vision can be challenging and for the longest time, I didn’t know there were resources and different devices that could be of so much help to me. I am so thankful to the Military Police Fund because without your help, I would have never been able to get these things. The work you do is truly amazing and life changing for so many.
I appreciate that you’ve took the time to allow me to participate in going to Space Camp and the attend the events. I learned a lot from the trip. Things like going through security in the airport and the procedures; How to survive in a helicopter crash; and being aware of the surroundings around you when you are lost in the forest. I enjoyed making new friends, meeting new people, and connecting with people. I made some new friends on that trip. I enjoyed all of the activities that I was in. I hope to participate on another event like this. I would like to say again, thank you.
